Journey North & Beluga Evening
Fly to Churchill and get oriented with a guided tour of the town and surrounding area. As the day winds down, enjoy a memorable sunset bonfire overlooking the Churchill River, where hundreds of beluga whales often gather along the riverbanks.
August 11–13, 2026
Wildlife Exploration & Arctic Landscapes
Spend your days immersed in Churchill’s incredible natural environment, with morning and evening wildlife outings timed for optimal activity and light. Midday breaks allow time to rest or review photos, while a guided hike to the SS Ithaka shipwreck at low tide offers a unique look into the region’s history and dramatic coastal scenery.

Zodiac & Tundra Adventures
During your stay, enjoy a three-hour zodiac boat tour on the river alongside a half-day tundra wildlife excursion. These experiences provide opportunities to observe polar bears, beluga whales, birds, and other Arctic wildlife while exploring Churchill’s remote and rugged landscapes.

Northern Lights Watch
When conditions allow, we’ll keep an eye on the night sky for opportunities to view the Aurora Borealis. Churchill’s northern latitude offers excellent chances to experience the Northern Lights, and outings may take place on any clear evening during the trip.
August 14, 2026
Churchill Highlights & Return to Winnipeg
Depart Winnipeg and begin your journey home, carrying unforgettable memories of Churchill’s wildlife, landscapes, and Arctic light.
- This is a suggested itinerary. It WILL be modified to accommodate activities that require specific tide stages, weather, or group safety.
- Every night has the potential for aurora. If it happens before midnight we will go aurora hunting.

The total cost of $6,400 per person reflects a thoughtfully paced, small-group experience led by me, Max Block, an experienced guide and photographer.
